Month: March, 2010
Over the weekend I bought this ball thingy for each of the kids. You know the ones… squishy with those tentacle-like things on them. This particular ball also lights up when bounced. My son was playing with his at church and the ball popped. He was SO sad. I reminded him that it was just a ball it would be okay. A few moments later he managed to take out the inner ball that lights up. He thought that was super cool because it too is bouncy. The hole in the main ball grew bigger as the day went on… taking the light ball in and out. The big ball has now become a hat. I kid you not, I think he’s had more fun with this toy since it popped then when it was complete. Making lemonade out of lemons, I guess.
It is an absolutely gorgeous spring day in Wisconsin. This sort of weather gets me excited to shoot outdoors again! I figure now is a good time for me to start my “What to Wear Wednesdays.” Roughly once a month I will post some sample outfits which can be ideas for a single subject or entire family. So, grab some ideas and contact me if you’d like to schedule a shoot.
Let’s kick it off with this…
This post was started last week. I was hoping to have the pictures in a slideshow because there were so many that I wanted to share. Of course, I still can’t figure out how to get the slideshow to work properly. So, here are a few nuggets. Many others can be viewed on my facebook fan page.

The first weekend of March we travelled to Minnesota to celebrate my nieces’ and nephew’s birthdays. I was up for the challenge of photographing the twins who turned one on the 6th. Let’s just say that 1 year old twins are a lot of work to photograph but worth every effort. I had a blast trying to keep up with them and capture a little bit of who they are. Little A (who turned 5 on the 12th) made my job super easy giving me lots of eye contact and giggles.
Here’s a sneak peek of some shots from the big birthday weekend!
