I had the privilege of photographing the precious daughter of my son’s teacher. It is such a joy to be able to give a little back as she has invested so much into my son this school year.
Sweet little E turns one tomorrow! She was toddling around usually clinging to a pacifier, stuffed animal, or cup. She is full of adorable smiles and has amazing eyes. Tara, thank you for allowing me to capture your baby girl. Enjoy your summer home with her!

Tis the season for soccer for our family. This is J’s 6th season. She is on the U10 traveling team this year. This is a developmental team. Basically, it means that there aren’t enough U10 teams around so they are playing against the U11 girls. It’s been so exciting to see her rise to that next level of play. The girls are really playing well together. Although they don’t win many games now, they are a solid team. I imagine when they get to U11, they will be rockin’ the field. They did win their first game of the spring season. There are some pics from that game to follow.
This is C’s first season. It’s SO fun watching the 5 year olds play. They had their first game last night. As you look though the pictures make sure you notice my favorite one. It’s the one where at least 3 kids are chasing after the ball, all smiling ear to ear. That’s what it’s all about in U5… chasing the ball an having fun. I think C’s team scored as many goals in their own net as their opponents’. But, it didn’t matter. We all had a blast! Oh, and it was very dark during this game. The light was low, the aperture was wide, and the ISO was high… these aren’t the crispest shots ever. At least I have the memories
Both kids are in Red this year. J is #11 and C is #9.
