Last week, I had a senior portrait client that asked if she could get some pictures taken at a sunflower field. I couldn’t find the exact location that she was talking about so that I could ask permission to use the property. About 4 days after her shoot I discovered a field that had just popped with gorgeous sunflowers. We approached the owners and they were so gracious in allowing my to use their property. I called my client and asked if she wanted to meet for 10 minutes to add on to her shoot we had done just a few days before. She was completely up for it! I also asked if she would mind if I brought my daughter along so that I could get some of her at that location as well…

So, here are some shots of my precious Jayda. She cracks me up with all of her “poses.” She isn’t even remotely camera shy. I don’t know if it’s because she’s had 10 years of me taking pictures of her or if it’s part of her personality. Either way, I incredibly blessed that she is willing to work with me. I adore that she hams it up for the camera and doesn’t care if I make her look totally goofy with the fisheye lens.
