Remember this past November when I participated in the Clicks2Bless Campaign? This gave you all the opportunity to nominate a family going through difficulties to receive a free portrait session, including digital copyrights, and a 16×20 canvas. The winner was the France family from Fond du Lac!

Obviously, this was filmed before their youngest was born. To catch you up from the video to present, Jessica has an inoperable brain aneurysm. She travels back and forth to Mayo Clinic for monitoring. Yet, despite her situation, she is full of life and joy. She is a total crack up and constantly on the go… just like her children. I had to pull out all of the stops to try to keep the attention of the youngest 2 (picture animal noises and flailing around like a monkey). Turns out that they would rather run than sit still, shocking right?

I honestly had a blast getting to know them and capturing them. When I told Jessica that via email she responded “Honey, you need to get out more!” That may be true. However, whenever I have the privilege of capturing subjects as they really are and their love for one another, it IS a blast.

Jessica, I admire you… your faith, your outlook, your ability to cherish each moment. I pray that you will have millions of more moments to cherish. Hope you enjoy my interpretation of your family. God bless!
