Shelly & Ryan are expecting 2 boys!

I’ve know Shelly and her family for 12 years. They are such a dear family to us. We can always pick up right where we left off with them.

I was honored to photograph Shelly & Ryan’s wedding back in 2009.

When I heard they were expecting twins I told them to let me know if they wanted any photos during the pregnancy. Shelly has been on bedrest for several weeks now so we decided to get the photos done sooner than later just in case she goes into pre-term labor. She is 31 weeks now which is a huge blessing. I’m praying they make it to at least 34 weeks.

I met them at their charming home in Milwaukee. My family came along because we knew we wanted to catch up. To our surprise, Shelly’s mom and both of her sisters were there as well. We cherished our time with them.

Ryan picked up a wheelchair for Shelly when she was put on bed rest so they could still go on walks together. As you can imagine,  Caleb spent most of the time maneuvering around the house in the wheelchair. It was quite comical how long he really can sit when he wants to!

Shelly & Ryan, thanks for the time together and allowing me to document such a precious moment in your lives. Excited to meet your boys!!
