{ Happy 1st Birthday } Kohler Wisconsin

July 6, 2012

So, you know how we moved to a new town a little over a year ago? That meant that our children needed to change schools. I found out that my son was placed in a classroom of a teacher that was a new hire to the school. Last summer, just before school started, his teacher sent a note in the mail to introduce herself. As I’m reading this letter it hits me… I photographed her wedding in 2008. Talk about CRAZY!

One thing I really enjoy doing is giving my children’s elementary school teachers a photo session as a year end gift. I feel like it’s the least I can do to show my appreciation for all that they have invested in my child for 9 months. Anyway, Caleb’s teacher decided that she wanted to have me capture her daughter’s 1st birthday party as her session. What a great idea!

Heather, I cannot thank you enough for all that you have done to encourage, teach & guide Caleb this past school year. Thank you for getting excited for him when he would succeed. Thank you for caring about your students in such a genuine way. We were SO blessed that you were his 1st grade teacher. Hope you enjoy my interpretation of Ava’s first birthday party.

Look who’s One! Fond du Lac WI Photographer

March 2, 2012

Remember the precious little girl from this Session?

Well, she just turned One! I got to visit Fond du Lac this week to photograph this little darling.

Honestly, I can hardly believe all of the crack up shots we got of her. She was so interactive and cooperative. What a joy!

Jackie, thanks for choosing me to capture E’s one year portraits. Hope you find a bunch that you love!
