Family Photos – Plymouth WI
January 7, 2013
I was approached by my friend, Heather, whom I’ve photographed many times (wedding, couple, pregnancy, newborn). She wanted to give a photo session to her in-laws as a Christmas gift. See, her sister-in-law, Winnie, is in the military and recently returned from deployment. In a couple of days she will return to Hawaii where she will be stationed until she leaves for overseas once again. Although, one of the siblings wasn’t able to make it back for this session, we decided to do it anyway. This way, we could get some photos of all of the grandkids. Plus, Winnie definitely needs some new photos of her & her son while she is gone. Time is precious!
It was down right cold the day we shot. The kids were not handling the temperatures. Who am I kidding? I wasn’t handling it well either plus my fingers were freezing! We moved to another location that was under construction and heated. It would be a great studio
Thanks for choosing me to capture this time of your lives. I hope you find a bunch of photos that you love!

{ Rainy Day Family Portraits } Fond du Lac WI
November 15, 2012
Rainy is an understatement.
A few weeks ago we had an extended family portrait scheduled as a 50th wedding anniversary gift to the parents of the group. The forecast had been calling for rain days in advance and there was no stopping it. It poured for 2 days straight. I called to talk about Plan B, but we decided it would be harder to re-coordinate 20 schedules than to make a go of it under shelter.
What an absolutely incredible family! There wasn’t a single complaint (at least nothing reached my ears). They were all so cooperative and pleasant despite the weather conditions. I had to rely on my flash much more than I prefer but all in all, I think we were able to get some great shots.
To the Michels family, you were such a pleasure to work with. I hope that I can work with you again sometime when it’s dry
And an extra big thanks to Bud, Joel, and Logan for keeping me dry with your umbrellas when I was taking the window shots!

Mini Family Portrait Session – Plymouth WI
November 6, 2012
Meet the Wilsons!
They decided to do a fall mini session. As you can see, even at a mini session, you can get a lot of shots taken.
They walked, ran, skipped, threw leaves and even had some time to play on the swings.
Nick & Christa, it was great working with you guys. Hope you find a bunch of photos that you love.
